Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PenFed) is America's second-largest federal credit union, serving 2.9 million members worldwide with over $31 billion in assets. PenFed offers market-leading certificates, checking and savings, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, auto loans, and a wide range of other financial services, always with members' interests in mind.

THE PROJECT

PenFed was working with sports sponsorships as a channel to reach audiences, and partner with brands that share their winning mindset and value teamwork. The ask was to extend PenFed’s brand into these spaces, helping cement that connection in the minds of viewers and fans, while supporting sporting excellence.

THE PROCESS

Ads that combined PenFed’s brand look with sports photography, plus copy that tied PenFed brand messaging to the partnered sport. These pieces appeared in wide variety of placements, including large OOH banners and truck wraps, TV spots, in-stadium LED and video displays, web banners and dynamically generated web ad placements.
